A visionary leader, Raoul Witteveen brings more than a decade of clean energy industry experience to Net Zero Hydrogen. He previously founded and scaled Sunrock, a leading provider of solar energy in the Netherlands; was a seed investor in Madrid-based Soto Solar and SkyNRG, the global leader in sustainable aviation fuel solutions. As president and COO of Interpool, he led the container leasing company through its IPO and $2.4 billion sale. Raoul earned a degree in economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
ROBERT-JAN VAN OGTROP
The former CEO of Bols Royal Distilleries and of Remy Cointreau, Robert-Jan van Ogtrop is the founder and acting chairman of the Circle Economy, a social enterprise working to accelerate the transition to a circular economy. He also serves on the advisory board of CVC Capital Partners. Determined to combine his business expertise with initiatives focused on sustainability, conservation, and business development in Africa and Europe, Robert-Jan is chairman of African Parks Network, chairman of the Nairobi-based TBL Mirror Fund, and co-founder of the Foundation for Natural Leadership, as well as a non-executive board member of several companies. He earned both a bachelor’s degree in economics and an MBA from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
PHILIP LEVESON, PH.D.
CO-FOUNDER AND CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER
Philip Leveson, Ph.D. is an expert in chemical process intensification, specializing in combustion science, catalysis, and heat transfer. He has conducted extensive research in these areas at the University of Campinas in Brazil, Newcastle University in England, and Clarkson University in New York. With several patents to his name, he has designed advanced industrial processes, managed manufacturing, and deployed field systems for gasification, fuel reforming, gas-to-liquids synthesis, and biodiesel production. Before co-founding Net Zero Hydrogen in 2005 as ZeroPoint Clean Tech, he served as chief technology officer of NextGen Fuel. Philip earned his Ph.D. in chemical engineering with a concentration in fuel technology from Sheffield University.
